I’m Ryan Salmon – Community Activator for British Cycling within the East Midlands.
Through my role I support the development of the recreation pathway through British Cycling’s recreational programmes and products.
I work with a wide range of volunteers and local authority partners to support behaviour change initiatives to essentially get more people riding bikes more frequently.
As with the rest of the team you will generally find me by email or phone, at meetings, supporting volunteer education through regional courses and out and about at community events and led rides.
A little more about me…
I am a hugely passionate member of the cycling community and love anything to do with bikes whether it be different cycling disciplines, smashing it out on Zwift and in races, commuting to the shops and work or just a social cake and coffee ride. I ride regularly with my club, with mates both in the real world and that of Zwift and I’m always up for joining in with other groups and clubs.
