Biography
I'm Clive Gill and I am your Regional Chair for East Midlands.
I started cycling in July 1989 while watching the tour de France that year.
I joined Axholme Wheelers later that year I started competing in Time Trials. Later I am progressed to racing on the road.
Following the resurfacing of Quibell Park in the mid 90's, I started helping with the judging at the Friday night track league. So I finally found my cycling home track racing.
My track racing career could best be described as 'Opportunistic'.
Following switching clubs to Scunthorpe Poly CC to concentrate on track racing, I qualified as Regional track & road commissaire.
I became a regional board member in 2002, progressing to vice chair before eventually becoming Regional Chair in September 2016
