British Cycling East Midlands

British Cycling East Midlands Region is an administrative arm of the National Governing Body for Cycle Sport in Great Britain. Its territory covers Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Rutland and Leicestershire

The region offers a fantastic array of cycling facilities, terrain, culture and cycling networks. To help govern cycling in the East Midlands, we have an elected Regional Board. The board is assisted by a British Cycling Regional Staff structure, supporting Events, Coaching, Community and Recreational cycling.

To help shape the boards governance, a Governance Guide is adopted by all English regions, supported by our own Regional Operating Guide

To help develop best practice, the region has in place Event Workgroups, for the separate cycling disciplines we oversee, including Road, MTB, BMX, Cyclo-cross, Gravel, E-Sports (Zwift etal), Youth and Junior, and Diversity & Inclusion.
