2022 Regional Annual General meeting

The East Midlands Region Annual General Meeting will be on 15th September 2022, at North Muskham Village Hall, Nelson Lane, North Muskham, Newark on Trent, NG23 6HL from 7pm


East Midlands Region Annual General Meeting 15th September 2022 North Muskham Village Hall, Nelson Lane, North Muskham, Newark on Trent, NG23 6HL Notice is given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the East Midlands Region 2022 at the above time and venue. AGMs are a key part of our strategy to Lead our Sport, Inspire our Communities and the meeting is open to all members to attend either as a representative of your cycling club, or as a private member. AGMs are your chance to meet other members of the British Cycling community in your region and lend a voice and vote in our activities in your region. Should you wish to represent your club and have their voting rights, please agree this with your club/team secretary in the first instance. The voting rights of Private Members will be in accordance with Byelaw 5 and a ballot of those attending will be made to decide on those appointed to vote. The draft agenda for the meeting is:

  1. Welcome

  2. Apologies for absence

  3. Minutes of the 2021 AGM

  4. Matters arising from those minutes not covered elsewhere

  5. Reports Chair’s Report Financial Report Regional Staff reports

  6. Election of Officials Regional board National councillors

  7. Consider proposals and motions for National Council

  8. Any other business

Please note all nominations and proposals must appear on the agenda paper for the AGM and any requested amendment to the agenda items must be received by the Secretary by midday 31st August 2022 at the following email address: secretarybceastmidlands@gmail.com The full agenda including proposals, nominations and reports will be circulated to all members 10 days before the meeting. All attendees must register by 5th September 2022 at: secretarybceastmidlands@gmail.com. When confirming your attendance, please include your membership number (xxxxxx) and whether you’re representing a club or team, or attending as a Private Member. If you are representing a club or team, please include the name of club or team in the email. The AGM meeting will follow all British Cycling bye-laws as detailed in the Bye Laws section of the British Cycling website.
