Stacey Reed

I am Stacey, Community Activator for Nottingham.

 

My main responsibilities include supporting the development of the recreational pathway through the British Cycling programmes and products. I will be working with a wide volunteer network, leaders and champions to enhance community engagement in cycling and get more people riding bikes more frequently.

 

I am here to support Nottingham and offer a voice, so please do contact me and I will offer my guidance.

 

My background:

 

Previously I have worked for British Gymnastics for 8 years across 3 departments which included Participation, Education and Events.

 

My most enjoyable experience at British Gymnastics would be running several recreational / low level events across a range of gymnastics disciplines in the East Midlands. Nothing is more enjoyable than seeing a community come together in sport.

 

I have recently found my passion in cycling from attending a few events with family, and just getting out and about on my bike. I am a very sociable person so please make sure to come and say hello when we meet.
