I've been regional treasurer since 2017

I started with Alford Wheelers riding my first club time trial as a schoolboy in 1974 going on to compete in road races and cyclo-cross at regional level.

​

Moved on to ride for Kettering Friendly CC and the 45 Road Club before the arrival of children called a stop to regular cycling.

Back to Lincolnshire to Grantham for work and got involved again riding with the Witham Whs. Supported son going through the ranks from Youth to Elite road racer while still competing in club TTs and Lincs League C-X

I've promoted GA Bennett and GT Ellingworth RRs since 2011 and circuit race series for several years at RAF Barkston Heath until the venue was lost for cycling. I'm currently Regional Road, Circuit and C-X commissaire.

I have a strong background in Club Cycling and am keen to see clubs evolve in a difficult environment, as without them it’s difficult to see how the ‘sport’ will continue to thrive.
