I have the privilege of being Sport Manager for the North for British Cycling, which covers the East Midlands region and have been fortunate to be with British Cycling since March 2016. 

 

In my role I liaise with the regional board and strategically plan the priorities for the region in the form of a Regional Development Plan (RDP). Along with this, I line manage the Sport Developer for the region and map out work programmes that align to the RDP. The main priorities within in my role is to ensure that the sporting pathway for cycling is connected across clubs, groups, coaching and competition across all disciplines.

  

In terms of facility development, facility funding and support to the Places to Ride Programme (now closed) I am regional lead and regionally will be working closely with those funded projects to see them through to fruition and ensure that these facilities are being activated accordingly.
